One of my BIGGEST pet peeves in the gym is the phrase "I don't have the genetics". I literally hate it when people say this... It's a cop out, you're throwing in the towel on your own potential without actually trying. I think we've all heard this when it comes to that o'so stubborn muscle... Calves. Calves are only slightly genetic, the truth is you have small calves because you aren't prioritizing them. A lot of lifters have arm days, chest days, back days, leg days (well some of you) but when was the last time you heard of a calve day? Exactly, my tip is to train your calves... No. I mean it. Train them like you would would train your biceps and your chest.. And stop complaining that you have poor genetics and they won't grow; your body hears that and listens.
