1) Foam Roller-
Foam rollers provide excellent pain release as well as giving your body a convenient way to rehab from brutal workouts. Foam roll daily and frequently.
2) Lacrosse ball- does the same thing as a foam roller but is easier to get in those hard to reach places.
3) Flat shoes- ever tried deadlifting or squatting heavy in athletic shoes? It doesn't work..I recommend converse, vans, or even a pair of Olympic lifting shoes.
